There will certainly be experiences and images from many new places. The rhythm of the sea should do its work and I hope there will be some words and pictures to capture some of it. There will be a new community of people for six months and I expect to be enriched and challenged. Books and lectures will be part of days at sea. And, certainly, there will be surprises.
On foot
I wandered through the solar systems,
Before I found the first thread of my red dress.
Already I have a sense of myself.
Somewhere in space my heart hangs,
emitting sparks, shaking the air,
to other immeasurable hearts.
